In general, the foreclosures are few and far between in Collier County. Its a great thing to see for the health of our market. People still ask for the great deals on foreclosures, the great deals don't really happen anymore. The banks want the market value of the homes now that they are not overwhelmed and caught up on the process.
A new report by ATTOM Data Solutions shows the number of vacant homes in the foreclosure process — known as zombie homes — fell to 13 in Collier County and 62 in Lee County in the third quarter.
